found SOHC 240sx with clean title. It's hatch and automaticbody looks good but car won't go backward.transmission is messed up so no reverse for the car (pretty hard at parking lot)he's asking around 600. should i go for it? or pay less?(engine condition is unknown)

ask for 500 becuase you cna't part that ****, tell him you found out it cost 500 + labor to get transmission replaced

If u do buy that car and want a cheap fix, just swap the whole motor for a ca.det or ka.de.

it's auto. i guess it's really easy to find auto transmission since everybody do 5 speed swap. but i never done anything with auto transmission...... gonna try swap it with my buddies.
