How much should I pay for this car?

looks clean, and low miles, nice stitching and stereo, the trans is gonna cost you about a grand, what pricing have you found on similar quality cars? the price might be a bit high but clean low mile cars are getting hard to come by, ultimately what's it worth to you, how long do you have to work to apy for it and is it worth that amount of your time?

if he has proof that he actually had the motor completely rebuilt then it sounds like the price is right around where it should be. on the other hand i have seen higher mileage tt's going for more so like he said, what is it worth to you?

now he says $8500 . he said the block was acid dipped and decked and new rings and bearings were put in. also the timing belt and all new hoses were put on. the turbos were rebuilt when the engine was rebuilt. if the water pump and other things like brakes have never been replaced would it be a good idea to do so? the car has 94500 miles

8500 is a very good price for a clean low mile TT

sounds like a good deal to me, im not sure if he can prove he rebuilt the engine and turbos, but if he can than thatd just make things better 4 you. 8500 sound real good for this car though. im not sure about it grinding into 4th, the synchro might be going out for 4th gear and if so thatd be a ***** to fix. but you should ask him about that b4 you puchase it.
