Question is simple. I will run my setup with t28 turbo and sr 370cc injectors. So I want to know how much boost i can run safe. Without running lean? thanks

~240rwhp worth of boost, assuming stock fuel pressure.

From a Z31 T3, that's about ~9-10psi typically. IIRC, the compressor on a gti-r and a Z31 are similar, so they should flow a similar amout of air at a given boost.

So I say 8psi until you can dyno it, or use somethign to determine actual duty cycle (people say 80-85% duty cycle is the safe limit of injectors, but Nissan sidefeed injectors have proven to be VERY durable under high duty cycle, so I use 95% as the *safe* maximum).

( EDIT: Meant to type 8psi, not 9... )

I dont think 8psi will get you 240whp. Orion mentioned 9-10psi from a Z31 turbo to hit 240whp. I'd imagine the GTiR turbo would need slightly more.

But youre limited by your 370cc injectors. THey max out around 240whp, regardless of how much boost it takes to get there.

Exactly what I was going to reply.

And I say 8psi b/c that's more than likely ~220-230rwhp, assuming the rest of the setup is solid...

And once you've either 1) dyno'd . . . or 2) determined EXACT duty cycle (using an MDM CMX-100, or the like)...then you can up the boost and max it out.

...until then, it's stupid to push your luck.

Raise your fuel pressure to increase your injector efficiency range.

Another thing to consider is your timing once you pass the 8psi mark. You'll start detonating unless it's retarded. So you can retard the base timing or get somthing like the MSD BTM.
