i know, its a total noob question, but i sold my 88 turbo-vert rx7 for a ka24de hatchback. i searched but i dont know how to work this forum . so i was wondering. how much is your KA making? please if your not making over stock, please dont bother posting (no offence). i mean i really interested in people who have made big or decent power out of their NA motor. where can i look for systematic upgrades. like suspension. then stage one engine upgrades like exhaust, intake, cams etc. then up to extensive upgrades. mind you im RETARDED when it comes to piston engines and i hope i can learn as much as i can before i pic up my new vehicle.

also, what is the best place to start looking for things to do for preventative maintanence? not only that but is there a guide for things to look for that are common problems?

once again. i tried searching but someone must teach me the WAYS. this forum is much different from http://www.rx7forum.com

thanks everyone, hope you all welcome me to the forum!!

You can find tons of threads in which a lot of guys with N/A KAs list their goals, progress, and power.

Without going full out mortgage-your-house-on an engine (which still hasn't really been documented), most tweaked NA KAs are making somewhere between 150-170 hp at the wheels.Mine was a poorly done rebuild (burning more oil than a turbo wenkel maybe?!.) and was last dynoed at 170hp.Big power lies in forced induction, though 170 is not too bad for fun times on the streets.
