Hi

So I own a pulsar C12, which I belive is branded in the US as the versa note with some different trim options.

I was wondering if anyone has put an aftermarket audio system in and how much power they have succesfully pulled from the stock alternator (110A). I ask this because I checked the data on the alternator, and its rated "atleast 41A at 1200rpm, and atleast 109 at 3000" - but anyone who drives a cvt will know that 99% of the time you are at 1500-1800 - so I'm guessing a 55-ish amp output?

I did a 'baby' upgrade to the stock audio system - I'm pulling about 300W for amps now, but since I was a little paranoid of pulling too much power I went for low power/cheap gear - which TBH isn't that great and I was lookign to upgrade to the 500-600w range to get into some of the nicer gear - but I don't want to have to replace the alternator or deal with any electrical BS issues.

Anyone done anything like this in a cvt before?
