how much pounds of boost can 3.5 handle?

Hello I wanted to know how much psi or pounds of boost can the 3.5 handle I hope I'm saying it right don't want to sound like an idiot but I want athe least 15 or 20 pounds I'd thAta possible for altima coup and does it have to be a specific turbocharger or it can be any turbocharger with 15-20 psi

I feel like you should read up about this more. Consider transmission issues/axles and all those good stuff. Or search up other's threads and see how their car handled boost.

You won't be able to run that much boost on a 370z either because neithers engine is built for it.

If you have a manual transmission you really can't go over 10psi and running at 7-8psi is considered "safe."
