Ok I currently own a 91 integra turbo. Has a super T70 and 3" exhaust. Im running 10psi on stock motor. And my plans where going to be big for this car. It was going to be parked and used for the track but still be streetable for the weekends. I want to be able to beat vettes no problems and run 10.00sec passes at the track. But I have always wanted a bigger motor and RWD would also help alot. So I have been researching the 240sx with a rb25 in it but I reall havnt seen and fast ones. No one seems to have and track times and all the videos I have seen, the rb25 240 is pretty much getting waxed.

What im looking for is a streetable vette eater. A 10 easily potential car. I know im gonna have to upgrade the ecu, turbo, maniold and fuel system but how easy is it to acheive what im looking for. It also seems that there are not that many parts for the RB25det?? or is there??

the reason you see them getting waxed is b/c most ppl don't have their motors that modded. there also seems to be a problem with RB owners having their cars running at all, let alone making power.

theres only been 1 maybe 2 RB powered 240's in the low 10s. i think they're all running autos too.

621 Hp On a Stock engine w/ cams and a super 72 w/ 101a/r AEM Standalone and alky... maxing out the fuel pump so we couldnt go any higher on the boost... you tell me if thats potential.

As for the track... Depends on your pockets. Horse Power is not a problem.

I would have a video of my car, but I dont have enough money to buy a video camera because I own a rb25'ed s13.

Stock Vettes arent that fast and fwd sucks for drag racing (and almost everything else(snow)), so if thats your thing get a rwd car.

well that is my thing. I mean I look at it like this. Spend 6 grand in my honda 1.6 or spend 6 grand in a 2.5L turbo six in a RWD light weight car. I dont plan on daily driving this car at all. It will be a weekend car but def a track car. Where can parts be found???

blurrbosi: 6 and some change is definetly some potential. I guess I will do more research. I mean I can probably sell my car and get enought to but a 240sx and motor front clip.

this is my preferred 10 sec (slicks) STD RB25 package, regulary does 10.63 on slicks or mid elevens on your average street tyres. i will post up the video or link it as soon as i can find it.

What kind of power would that put me at?? 500-600?? Im not really a big fan of the what I call "G" series turboes. I like the turbo along the lines of t70,t76,t78's and stuff.

Haha im exactly the opposite i find i get better results out of the td's. we average 320-330rwkw (400-460rwhp) on dyno dynamics dynos. Our dynos read about 60hp down on the american dyno jets.

in american hp levels i would put our cars at around 500-520rwhp.

protential isn't the case, its $. and the $ you are talking about using isn't gonna get you there. The RB25 isn't modded and well covered as the LS and B series motors have been.. Neither the less the RB does have a good part market and will defentantly put down the performance but for $6k, its a budget swap, not build at all.

10sec passes all day in a street car isn't just on the car's protential.. Rather most all of it is in the driver's protential.

Check out http://www.nengun.com, they are in japan, but they sell almost everything you would want to upgrade, cams, injectors, clutches, turbo kits, intercoolers, etc with brands like HKS, Greddy, Nismo, Apexi, Exedy, Cusco, Blitz, etc. and shipping is pretty resonable for coming from japan.

That has every turbo needed for the rb25 but not much more. What is needed to get a manifold. I beleive thats my major concern unless there is a possibility of making 50-600 hp with the stock manifold??

and what about the intake manifold. When is it no good. hp wise.

Stock dp with open exhaust, stock rear shocks, stock clutch, hks evc IV boost controler set to 12psi, hybrid fmic, mickey thompson drag radials and r33 vlsd & axles.

Ive installed the centerforce dual friction clutch, C's short shifter and a greddy im since then, but havent run the car with the new mods. Im hoping to hit a 11.999 pass with it on a cold night.

$6k will get you a car and an a motorswap but not even close to the 10s, you'll need alot more $ for that.
