Seems he is behind about everything. The latest seems to be the press for investigating and prosecuting those who were a part of the Bush Administration via a "Commission on Accountability". We all know that Obama has sat on the fence with this issue as he first said there would be no investigation and now saying he is not against it, while also releasing waterboarding documentation. For the last 8 years we have certainly heard rumblings of trying to impeach the Bush Admin due to the "Illegal War on Terror", which was expanded to include Gitmo detainees (who seem to have the rights of US citizens) and interrogation techniques, illegal wire tapping (gee, why has that subject gone silent now? ) and others.
commissiononaccountability.org is the site which is the "go to" for pressing forth this issue and they list quite a number of co-sponsors:
* Amnesty International USA * The Brennan Center for Justice * The Carter Center, Human Rights Program * The Center for Human Rights and Global Justice, New York University, School of Law * Center for the Study of Human Rights in the Americas, UC Davis * The Center for Victims of Torture * The Constitution Project * Human Rights Center, University of California, Berkeley * Human Rights First * Human Rights Watch * International Center for Transitional Justice * International Justice Network * The Jacob Blaustein Institute for the Advancement of Human Rights * Jewish Council for Public Affairs * National Institute of Military Justice * National Religious Campaign Against Torture * The Open Society Institute - Soros's Foundation * Physicians for Human Rights * The Rutherford Institute
Those above in bold have received funds from The Open Society Institute over the years (as has most funding for moveon.org and the Center for Constitutional Rights, which praises the Viet Cong and constantly filed lawsuits to try and throw a stick into the war wheel). The website above is a Soros site which is managed by Blue State Digital, founded in 2004 by four former members of Howard Dean's presidential campaign, which is heavily involved in getting Obama elected. Let's not forget the lack of investigation into the hundreds of millions in campaign contributions that Obama received in which he refused to show where it came from.
Soros seems to have his finger in every till at this point.
Thoughts?
