Hey guys, in the somewhat near future I am considering building a high-compression ka, fully built. Na-Ka FTW!! My question is, would I be better to swap a DE into my '90 or just stick with the E? How much of a difference do you think it would make having the ability to advance/retard intake and exhaust timing seperately?

on a seperate note, anyone running a high-comp ka? if so, what compression ratio?

both subject have been over in great detail.but your best and cheapest bet would be a ka24e block/piston with a ka24de head. IIRC this bumps up comp. to 10:1 or something. I will also say Djpants has comments on the whole setup with tons of info in the ka forum, and its normally on top. He also just did a write up on cam gears diy style, which has info on retard/advancing cams in the 240sx forum, might be stickied already.
