I did the math, right now I'm just under $8500, including the price of the 89 s13 coupe (1400) and my falken tires (around 400) and some extra drift wheels.thats nuts... I shoulda saved it and bought an NA supra or something... hell I coulda got a new aveo with 100k powertrain warranty!

lol but I love my coupe.

Do you mean the value of the parts that I've put on, or the actual amount of money that I've taken as a loss thanks to spending it on the car?

hasnt anyone ever told you to NEVER add up all the money you spend on your car? It always scares you.

personally, i have 5200 in buying the actual car, 412.00 for struts, 130.00 for springs, 200 for camber plates, 60+80 labor for nismo T/C bushings, around 1200 for the full 300zx brake swap and 1000 for wheels and tires.grand total, 7382.00. I havnt finished the suspension work, and am scared at how much a turbo setup will cost in the future.

I'm pretty much done spending only thing I'd like is a passenger seat, harnesses, and a roll bar. maybe RUCA's.

But yeah, thats 8500 just counting what i have spend on parts. Man if you added in my labor for putting it all together I'd say the value would go through the roof.

Alright. I calculated the amount of money that I've taken as a loss...

Suspension/brakes- $600Wheels/tires - $700Turbo setup(so far) - $913.29.. including shipping for all parts..

so it totals to be about $2200... about as much as the car cost.

Not too bad.. yet...

I thought it was in the KA-T forum earlier, good to know I'm not imagining things. I've put about 3k into mine, that's just for suspension and brakes.

That is not a Chrysler ME Four Twelve...

I forget who makes it, it's the same company that makes a bunch of Cobra reproductions...

It's a kit car, and a damned fine one at that. I'd still rather have a Noble M12, but that thing is still teh hawt...

Not including price of the car...approx $65-$68. Price for the only thing I have done to the car. Blitz air filter. Everything else was on the car.

Nismo 2 way LSD, given to me for free by a fellow Japanese Nissan enthusiast...just need to put it in. Blitz Boost gauge, free...see above reason, minus installation...already done.
