I have a 1991 Nissan 240sx with 157K miles. I am the original owner, and have kept the car in flawless condition. It is white with dark grey interior. Its has an automatic transmission, and the factory sunroof. The car runs perfectly, and looks absolutely beautiful. The car has always been garaged, so it has been sheltered from the elements. It has come to a point, where my wife and I need a larger car (with 4 doors).

Please let me know how much you think my car is worth.

Thanks so much in advance.

Thanks for the reply...however, I am seeing so many different amounts for 240sx's for sale. If anyone has any real life experience, either in selling or buying, I would really appreictae it.

Thanks so much.

People can ask any price they want, that doesn't mean they'll get it. The sites I listed give you a starting point. For that matter, if you really want to see what it might be worth, get a dealership to appraise it for you. All you have to do is pretend your interested in buying one of their vehicles, drink their free coffee/soda, have a doughnut, and walk away with a free estimate. It's even more fun if you walk into a high end showroom and take a really fancy number for a test drive. :chuckle:

If you're car really is flawless like you say (no rust either), it COULD sell for over 5k. The last time I saw a SUPER-flawless S13 it was going for 9.5k... however it only had 30k original miles on it and had never ever been in any kind of accident and had ZERO rust. Post some pictures so members can see how well-kept it actually is. Are there any CEL codes or any issues? Is it all OEM? Where is this car located as well? If it's a southern car you can bump the price a little... theres a lot of things that determine the price, especially WHERE you're selling it and WHO yur selling it to. If yur car is as perfect as you state, then I'd pay over 5k for it. Nice S-chassis are hard to come by where I live though

Thanks for the replies. The car was in Long island for 10 years, then its been in New Jersey ever since. There is a little bit of rust, but not too much at all considering its age. Maybe i should take pictures of it to post. Its sad thinking about selling it. Thanks again to all

Rusty S13s are a dime a dozen, but truly flawless ones (especially 5 speeds) are rare.

Thanks PapaSmurf2k3.....However, I would not call my car rusty, it just has a tiny bit of rust underneath the car in the back...that's it! For a 23 year old car, it looks amazing. I get comments all the time how beautiful the car is. As a matter of fact, when I bring it to the Nissan dealer for oil changes, etc...the service technicians all run out to see my car. Anyways, I will take pictures and post them when I can.

Thanks again for all the follow ups.

If the rust is on the chassis then it would diminish the value quite a bit. Even if its a tiny bit, it ruins the value. If the rust is on a bolt on part however (like suspension arm or exhaust) then it could be replaced so it wont ruin the value that much. Especially if the car is in Jersey, people would be very interested if there's minimal rust. Post some pics. Where in NJ are you located?
