Good point about the paint, I plan on getting a new paint job on my car anyway, so I didn't even factor that in.. My bad..martins_240sx wrote:yeah BUT a good rule of thumb is if you can see it then its prolly places you cant as well. And plus that is going to involve removal of paint, that being said who ever buys that car isnt going to want a spray paint patch were the rust was repaired, and that is going to cost more than 50 bucks to get that area primed sealed and painted correctly...
KBB doesn't apply to these cars very often... Most people that buy these cars, buy them for the purpose of modifying them in some way. It comes down to what my grandpa said to me when I was buying my first car. "Is it worth x amount of dollars to YOU?"martins_240sx wrote:according to kelly blue book for your city in wisconsin a "90" coupe is at $660 for fair $1010 for good and yours is not excellent but that is 1260. keep in mind that this is for a 1990 not your 1989. Now I went and logged the price drop between all the years and it averages from $115 to $145 drop each year. kbb does not offer a qoute for an 89 so I retract my price and say it is worth $550-$900....
I agree, i bought my first 240 for 1800, it was the cheapest i could find. i really do want this one to sell but i dont want to get raped for selling price.PyR0NiAk wrote:
