Oh you're right! I retract what I said. Probably $2000 now, maybe even lower depending on how much rust is on the car.OutToWinPAHC wrote:I see rust in the door jamb, makes me wonder about the frame rails
It has over-sized pistons new rods, new bearings everywhere, new gasketscold air intake, and an ecu fast chip. and it does have a little rust.S14toRPS13 wrote:Come on, it's worth more than that.
OP, when you say performance rebuild, what do you mean by that? Forged pistons, rods, bigger cams, upgraded valve train? Higher compression, lower compression, building for forced induction or building for n/a ? If it's running like a champ and the interior looks good, it should be able to pull in $3500. Possibly a few hundreds more, but I don't think it'll sell above $4000 though. I've seen clean S13's go for about $3500.
uhh he lives in the states. where 240s are a dime a dozen. that thing isnt worth more than 2k tops240sxFTW wrote:its a coupe? arnt those a little more rare than hatchies? In canada that would sell for about 5000. i bought mine for 5500. bone stock and rust free coupe.
Those are probably fighting words to the KA-T guys. Other than the rust, this should be a great start for a lot of KA-T guys. The concern I'd have is. Why is the OP wanting to sell the car after less than 200 miles of driving his freshly rebuilt motor? That's not even a tank of gas yet. Unless, the point was to sell it all along. If so, I wouldn't have even bothered with building up the engine.Kalypso123 wrote:1k
240's are getting old, I wouldn't pay more then that for it.
plus any person that buys this, is doing a motor swap.
