How much is an RB20 5 speed trans worth?

I was sent an RB20 trans by accident but I'm contemplating on buying it from the guy and having him send me the right one (RB25 trans )

What should I offer him 300$?

I got my rb20 trans and it doesn't shift into anything except 1st and 2nd. Not sure what is wrong with it, but I until I open it up and see if something is wrong, I may need to find another...

Well I tore mine open today, somehow it had been jammed into 5th gear w/o the shifter doing it (dropped hard maybe?), but I fixed it up, cleaned out the internals, and sealed it back up now it shifts fine.

yes they are the same trannies with different bellhousings.

I miss-shifted mine and took out reverse like that. Somebody goofed up a shift and got the forks in limbo it sounds.

seems a common thing with the ka stuff. atleast it's easy to fix and replace.i would get tired of buying g-boxes
