how much is a knocking s14 sr20det worth, cause I got one! No turbo, just manifolds. It has a rebuilt head. Should I part it out or sell the whole thing. I'm not going to rebuild it.

I'm wondering if such an engine could be saved with a full stroker kit(one that even replaces the crank). I guess is depends on if the main bearings are okay.

Agreed. Not worth much, maybe a little more if it includes the harness, CAS, etc.

Yea, a good line-bore will clean up the mains and ACL sells Race bearings up to .50mm over for mains. Up to 1.00mm over for rod bearings.
In other words, as long as the damage isn't too bad a machine shop can salvage a crank and block. But the machine work may outweigh the cost-saving of getting a bum block.

^^ Exactly, I bought my sr with a spun bearing and unfortunately had to come out the pocket to have it repaired. The worse that can happen is you'll need a new/used crank (or bock ), just grab a crank out a usdm sr and have the machine shop fix you up with a hone, bore and balance and you should be good.

You should, and then you should throw a GT35R on there. ;)

Yup, i pulled mine from a g20, 30 bux. Just rebuild, its the only way to be sure.
