how much hp would any aftermarket give a sohc

with a new 240w/ ka24e comming i just dont know what to do. i have a dohc motor just sitting around and i was wondering, should i build the sohc or run the car with the dohc? well as it says, i was hoping you guys could give me an answer about how much more power cams would give to a sohc. and would a mildly built sohc outrun a mildly built dohc.

each has its own merits. each has its fair share of aftermarket stuff. the e has more nismo junk going for it.

most places that sell cams and what not are more than happy to advertise their power claims.
