how much rwhp on 93 octane would i have around if i installed, dual intake, ecu upgrade, 740cc injectors, ams manifolds, gt28r turbos, 3" downpipes and tests, pully set, godspeed smic. and how much hp if i also installed snow meth injection?? thanks guys

Hey! Don't knock the cheap godspeed coolers. But yeah, why did you cheap out on the intercoolers? I have them on my car and work without issue,but I am running stock turbos and injectors.

according to this about 420 whp on pump gas at 18psi and 480 on race at 22 psi. going to need some bigger turbos and the full 2.5 inch intake piping/kit to come close to 500.

True, but I also posted the SAE numbers. The STD numbers are 435 and 400 with and without meth, respectively. We could have probably hit 480 or so with the meth spraying, but my plugs were gapped a few thousandths too wide, limiting me to 19psi. 500s are capable of blowing efficiently to about 22-23psi.

Also keep in mind that SZ tunes are amongst the safest you can buy. They use a knock detection system to listen for knock with a microphone. Can't get much safer than that. Of course you can make more power, but if you're listening for detonation with your ears, it's already too late.

I'd be willing to wager that MrMoose's tune is on the raggity edge of not blowing up.

Yep my tune was for most power, when i the head gaskets due to a blown turbo coolant line the rear cyls had minor det marks on the top.... that was after 5k of beating on the motor, now i got gt30s with the same pistons and similar tune, still no problems yet.

1) THOSE DYNO RUNS AND BLOG POSTINGS WERE ON RACE FUEL, huge difference.

2) the point of those dyno runs wasn't to show that you can get mid to high 400s and even 500s on stockers, but to show how efficient 2.5'' intercoolers and intercooler pipings, and 3'' exhausts can be.

3) running 18-psi on stock turbos isn't going to help their longevity and reliability. i wouldn't run them more than 16-psi, at most, on a consistent basis.
