If you have a 255 fuel pump and fmic I think you might be able to hit as much as 400whp with the stock cams.

The most I have seen someone make with stock cams is 360 or 380whp so far.

400whp has been done on stock cams but it was with a GT30R .63. Using a 2871R only nets right around 330-350whp.

I run a built bottom end w/ gt 2871r .64 A/R stock cams ( every freaking bolt on too) @ 21psi I am deffinetally making over 350 whp probably close to 380 and the engine still pulls harder then my rev limiter will allow I want to dyno the car to get deffinate #'s, but this car is almost to fast for the street. I am willing to bet the 330 is being conservative, but I also believe to make over 380 and break 400 you will need cams with our turbo

I had the same setup as you and did 350whp 350tq @ 20psi years ago. The tq peaked very high early and constantly fell as the rpm's increased. It feels fast but its just the feel of fast spool and tq. The cams are a huge bottle neck in the SR engine. They pretty much cant flow for s*** past 5500rpm. To confirm the horsepower it was running consistent 115mph trap speeds. Once i upgraded the cams and manifold and got it tuned, it was doing 122mph @ 21psi.

Those are still respectable #s. I was estimateing the cars potential, as I have not had any dyno time....unfortunately right now I have 0whp, my car lost oil pressure and i found a trail of oil leading to a puddle under my car. I think my upper oil pan cracked or lost it's seal

My 2871R with stock cams and intake did the exact same at 20-21psi. I also trapped 115-116 and made 345whp/350tq with that setup. I am definatly not a fan of the intake mani on the 2871r. I would do HKS 264 cams and leave the stock intake. You will make plenty of power and still have 350+ wh/tq. You lose more tq than you gain whp with the intake. It is a much more well rounded car with the OEM intake and mild cams with the GT2871R IMHO. It should do 375-380whp and over 350tq and that is bad a** in a 2600lb car.

Yeah its not worth going to a Short Runner Intake unless seeking power over 7500rpm which a 2871R wont make power at those revs anyways. Ive often thought about taking my stock manifold and making a large plenum for it and use a Q45 TB. I would think it would make alot of tq from the long runners and still have good flow for high rpm with a larger plenum and throttle body to match.

why do u have an air fuel controller and a nistuned ecu at the same time? kinda pointless.sell the air fuel controller, get the car dynoed and still have a few extra bucks left over.
