What he said. Because to get the HP figures that the manufacturers get, you have to take your engine out, and hook it up to a crank dyno. I wouldn't even know where to find one of those things, because it's easier (and more accurate) to use a chassis dyno, which tells you how much of the power is actually getting through the transmission to your wheels.
