Hey guys,

What's a reasonable price for a USED TT oil pan? (not including shipping)

A guy from tt.net was going to sell me one for $40 + shipping, but ended up not having one. Now this other guy is trying to sell me one for $110 shipped. That seems kinda high to me..

What do you guys think?

Disclaimer - flamesuit on :chuckle:

MEH, $110 actually seems about right to me - $40 would've been a steal. They're $200 new, and I guarantee it'll be more than $110 to have a decent one fabricated from scratch that will fit and not leak. Unless you modify an NA oil pan by welding in ports for oil cooler lines and turbo drain - which would actually be your best bet if you want "cheap."

PS: OP, still waiting for your offer on mine but I'm guessing it'll be too low :gapteeth:

^ ok, ok, I know a few welders and they don't mind working for beer so yeah I guess for me 110 would be more than enough to get one fabbed but then I would think that just converting the NA to accept the Turbo oil dumps and oil cooler lines would be easiest.

haha buddy favors don't count :)

But I agree - modding an NA pan would be easiest/cheapest alternative.

It's all good, mrmoose has a spare oil pan for me :dblthumb:

Thanks for the input guys, you're right about converting an NA pan to TT, that would be the easiest. And I realized I need to make friends with more welders..
