Im lookn for a sr200det.... the s14 is pretty expensive... i only have 2k... how much could i get the s13 for?

I have been looking around bro and from what I can find you are looking at about 2200-2400 for the motor and then about another 1000 for intercooler and then you got about 700-1000 in spare money for unforseen problems. Keep saving.

I will be selling the redtop S13 for $2200 100% complete. Heavythrottle sells the s13 redtop for $2400 complete. Unstable-Hybrids sells it for $2500 complete. However, since you were asking about a S14 engine before, I am led to believe you have a S14. If you have a S14, correct me if I'm wrong, the S13 engine into the S14 is a little more work in the wiring department. If you are going to have someone else do the install, at a shop that does them, ie one of the three I just listed, you're looking at around 1000-1500 dollars just to put the engine in. Plus, you're probably going to need about 1000 dollars in other parts, intake, exhaust, downpipe, gauges, fuel pump, belts hoses and such, just to name a few things you'll probably need. : ) Its usually a bit more money than just the engine. You're pretty much not going to get an engine for 2000 dollars, or less than 2000 dollars, and have it be complete. Its probably not going to happen. And unless you are going to do the swap yourself, you have to add on for labor cost, or you'll have an engine sitting in your garage with nothing to do with it, as happens to a number of people.
