Well I started taking my car (95 240sx) apart for my engine swap and found some interesting little supprises on it. Looks like it was setup with NO2 and has a Jim Wolf ECU (at least that's what the sticker says). Is there anyway to find out what it's been programmed for? Also, my main question is how much is it worth if I sold it or traded it for a stock ecu? I really don't need it and I figured I might as well use it to help makeup some of my engine swap costs.

I beleive you can open it and be able to tell if it has been modified. As far as what mods if any.....good luck. I cant think of a way, but ECu prograsmming isnt my thing. As far as price.....depends.If you can confirm without a doubt that it has been modified by JWT and fits the specs that someone needs, I would say at least 350 plus their ECU. Sounds good. Maybe a little more. However (and this is just little ol me talking) if the money didnt come out of my pocket to get it reprogrammed initially, I wouldnt pass that on to the next guy. i would be fair, but I wouldnt try to get them for 500 bucks either

I paid $250 for mine with a N/A tune.

Pornflakes wants like $575 for his.

Depends on who you talk to.

My understanding is they do write on the ECU what it is tuned for. That sticker you mention is probably it.

As far as what it is worth...whatever someone will pay...

maybe you can ask JWT. tell them who you bought the car from and they should be able to tell you if that person was a customer and what they had done.

Well I'm at least the 3rd owner of the car, probably more like 4th, I don't know who it was that put that in there. Think they might be able to tell off of like a serial # or code on there?
