How much for a clean Ka24de, and how hard is the swap (too poor for sr20)

Im only 17 but my ka24e trash in my 90 240 is just hell, it has about 213k on it. I will silvia swap my car after college, but until then im not living with this thing, Just wondering how many of oyu did a K sohc to K dohc swap, and how much a 95 or so engine with low mileage goes for...50k or less.

call a wrecker for the engine in your area. i know the power steering lines will have to be moved and i have heard that the dohc tach sifnal wont run the sohc tach but others say it will. thats all i know

the tach will run. as will all of your other gauges.The engine can be had for $300-$1000 depending on milage.
