Hey guys I'm wondering how much drivetrain loss you would get in a s13?I was thinking around 20%?I just dynoed my s13 with sr and put down 242.4rwhp and 231.6 rwtq on a stock t25 at 13-14psiI want to calculate a bhp number but im not too sure of the percentage loss?what do you guys think?btw, i will post a vid and the graph asap!

that is a good question! It will depend on your drivetrain upgrades. the less flex you have in the drivetrain chassis connection the better response and the more power you will be able to put down. It also depends on your clutch and flywheel, but I think the average loss is in that 10-20% range closer to 10, but transmission and motor mounts can significantly decrease that number, but ride quality goes down also. So to calculate that number you have to take into accound those type of upgrades. the more of them you have the closer the whp number will e to the bhp, in the reverse, the less of those mods you have the greater the whp number goes down and separates itself from the bhp

just curious, do you still have the arc smic? If so how much difference are you noticing over stock?

Would the drivetrain loss % be lower if you had a Lightened Crank Pulley, Flywheel, and Driveshaft?
