I hope I'm not coming across as a sourpuss with my posts. I'm sure I'm going to enjoy my Rogue if I can ever get the paperwork resolved.

However, I have just leased a Nissan Rogue SV and thought I knew approximately what the insurance would be but getting quotes today it is a lot higher than I expected. I've never leased a vehicle let alone an SUV and I didn't know the quote would be so high.

Anyone have any insurance company recommendations. The quote is for 100/300/50 and $1000 deductible. So far my quote is an additional $1000/per six months from NWide. That seems outrageously high. I've never had any major accidents.

That seems very high.
We pay $533 every six month.
We have Geico
Bodily Injury Liability $50,000 per person/$100,000 per occurrence
Property Damage Liability $50,000 per occurrence
$300 deductible.

i second that low geico price: $434.30/6months.
50/100/50 and $500deductible. i do have towing. i DONT have rental reimbursement.
zero points, no dwi's, no at fault claims, stellar driving record, i am 30yrs old.
and my car was used, 2008, with 29k when i bought it, and my policy has remained virtually the same for the past 3 years

i would think about:
your credit history
your past claims
your NEW car (newer is more expensive to fix)
location (based on claims, crime, accidents, etc)
