My '03 Infiniti M45 is due for a 30K service and I am interested in what a 30K service would cost.

I can get the service done at a Nissan dealership (certified) for just over $500 bucks whereas Infiniti is quoting around $800. Anyone have an idea what the ballpark should be?

Also, is there anything wrong in getting it done at a Nissan dealership v/s an Infiniti dealership? I mean, the car is a Nissan essentially right?

Depends what's included in the service. Not standard caross dealerships. Get it in writing.

Austin Infiniti is pretty lax on their standards. Best to just replace all fluids and filters (the latter annually).

As a side bet, I have $20 that says none of them include a mechanical ATF exchange, pand drop, screen and O ring replacement.

Unfortunately, no longer a Nissan or Infiniti, but continuing here at NICO!

Also, here is an old post of mine that will give you some information: zerothread/148207.

Recently, I got a new flyer that I will scan and post up when I get a chance. It has a list of things that they do. The local San Jose Infiniti dealer is now offering multiple types of service for a given mileage - some of which includes the additional stuff that maxnix mentions, at a combined discount, so makes it worth it (sorta!).

Thanks guys.

Please do let me know as my car runs great and I would like to keep it purring along.

Austin Infiniti's price seemed a little on the high side. Do dealerships match prices? Or should I just go to another dealership in the region? I don't particularly want to drive to Dallas but maybe the San Antonio dealership will be an option

I'm not quite there yet. I just had the 15K service at the dealership here in southern california and it cost me close to $400.
