there is only one intake and one exhaust cam, thats why the call it a DOUBLE over head cam engine, not a QUADRIPLE over head cam engine.. the only four cylinders that use four cams are boxer engines or horizontally opposed engines,

do you only need to buy two cams...

Actually, GM makes a quad four. It's in the 93 Grand Am for sure, not too sure what else it's in.

The cost of these cams depends on where u get em. If u find em on a junkyard they cost u only a few bucks, new ones will cost nearly as much as aftermarket ones.Actually u only need the CA16DE intake cam, cause exhaust isn't much different from stock(maybe even the same,as far as i remember).

I am pulling a set out of a junkyard next week just to put this rumor to rest. People claim that they are better, major car magazines in Japan disagree. I am tired of hearing people debate it so I will buy them and spec them out to see what I get. You want em when I'm done? I have a set of HKS ones so I don't want them no matter what they have so I'll sell em for $300.00 shipped (U.S. only sorry) with the lifters they were riding on.

No thanks, I'll go out and get my own... but thanks anyways.

I just wanted to know about how much they would be pulled out from the scrap yard, like 20 bucks?

"near new" is he joking, they have rust on them. For $30.00 bucks though I could get a bottle of chrome polish!
