I'm going to be buying a coupe this week and just wanted to get a sense of how low I might be able to get the price? The car I'm looking at is either a dark slate or black 2.5S with the convenience package and moon roof. Not really interested in a lot of the convenience package options but no one has the base. Ideally, I'd get the base with the moon roof and upgrade the wheels and tires. But I think I can get the best deal with the cars they have on the lot.

The lowest offer I've gotten so far for the 2.5 convenience package and moon roof is about $23,700++. Has anyone gotten invoice or slightly below? I went to this dealership several weeks ago and they still have the same coupes. So trying to use that to get the price down a bit.

I used a costco auto buying program that put me in touch with a salesman at a dealership thats partnered with costco. Quoted me 200 over invoice and then fought it down some more.

Base 2.5 ~19,500 after taxes and everything w/ 3.9% interest rate

I originally negotiated a base model 2.5 S coupe w/ manual transmission for $500 below invoice and 3.9% APR for 48 months. The only option the car had was floor mats. The car was a dealer trade and the other dealer said they would trade, then ignored my dealer for 2-3 days and later called and said the car was no longer available. So my dealer ended up getting me a car w/ the same options, same color, but with the automatic transmission. Didn't pay anything extra for the automatic, because I was about to walk out the door and they wanted to sell a car. So I ended up paying $1000 under invoice and got 3.9% APR for 48 months. That was less than a month ago.

I got my premium 2.5 for 26,500 out the door.

That translates to about 24,500 plus tax and tags. Around $500 below invoice.

You should be able to do better than that since it's the end of the model-year.
