How much did you guys pay for struts install

Ok i have a s13 and got some struts and i went to get a quote for labor for all four, and one place told me 580.00 and another 3-4 hundredwhich i think is alittle high.

so do u think is thats to much.

If any one know how do this and lives near Austin, let me know and how much will you charge me

i would help you do it for free bro, ive done it enough times, definately not worth 600 bones though, read up on here and im confident you can do it yourself, the only special tool you need is a set of spring compressors, all the rest are basic hand tools.

yeah its pretty simple stuff if your confident with tools. i couldnt imagine paying someone that much for the install

do it yourself. jack up the car, put it on jack stands. take off the wheels, unbolt the strut and spring assembly. then replace with new strut and spring assembly. the hard part is really just setting up the new spring and strut assembly. that requires a spring compressor but the actual install is the removal of under 20 bolts. post up a thread in the general section to see if there's anyone near ya that would help ya out.
