I guess it depends on whether you want a manual transmission for sure! If so, then, as far as I know, there is no other choice in that car segment that compares in value (I forget whether the BMW 3 series has a manual available, but it would be more expensive anyway!)S14-84 wrote:hey, i was wondering how much you guys paid for G35? I was compairing g35 and 05 TL...I think 6MT G35 is way tooo expensive... so i dont know what to get?
Yes, you are quite correct! I also went and looked at the Acura web site ... but forgot to post back in here about it.impaler_240 wrote:I am pretty sure the TL comes in a 6 speed...at least I know for sure it did in 2002 because a friend of mine had one.
Nice! Great deal, indeed.impaler_240 wrote:My 2004 G35 6MT MSRP was $36,500 when I bought it new in September of 2004. I know everything about G35 and 350z but i really dont like 350z that much1!~ i mean i like it but i dont think i personally wont buy it!!~ yes, TL does comes with 6MT. I dont know about buying a used G35!~ If im going to pay high $20 or $30,000. I rather get brand new car!! i really like the new upgraded G35 (298hp, 18 Rim, Brambo brake system)szhosain wrote:

By the way, I don't think the TL has an available manual - am I wrong about that?
You could also consider the Nissan 350Z if you were willing to accept the "reduced" luxury inside (it is not a bad trade-off.) Some of those models are lower in cost than the G35.
Finally, have you considered getting a used 6MT G35?

EDIT: Of course, the 350Z is a two-seater ... which may be a different issue for you.
How dare you. The 3 series come standard with manual transmissions. The TL also has a 6 speed manual with automatic as an option.szhosain wrote:I guess it depends on whether you want a manual transmission for sure! Sorry! Did not mean to ruffle any BMW owner feathers. I was pretty sure that the 3 Series had a manual available, just couldn't remember at that moment.bassinasilvia wrote:How dare you. I know what you are trying to say!!~ Don't any wrong idea. My first choice would be G35 but Im also looking for that LITTLE features!!~ You should go check out the TL features. They got some amazing stuff on it. I'm not going to explain every details but yeah! How much more do i have to pay for Navi??? GOSH!!~ I really want a navi but its sooooo ripp off!!~BTW TL comes with 280HP...heh not that matters!~DoriftoNismo wrote:I Paid 23,900 for my 03 g35 sedan w/29000 miles on it 6mt sport pakage. but any ways ur comparing an infiniti to an acura. infiniti RWD...Acura FWD. i just looked at comparison prices. Acura TL 6MT base no navi 33,100. G35 6MT sedan Base 30,750. oh wait Acura 270 HP G35 298hp. And for the coupe G35 base 33,350, only $250 difference. The reason why the Acura is more is because alot of the little stuff comes standard (im comparing to the sedan). if u add the little stuff to the G35 it'll be the same price. but the big difference to me is 298 Vs 270. And RWD Vs FWD. u get more attention in the G35 than a TL. And dont get caught up in the whole Honda quality is Better quality. i worked for honda and i see the same problems as i see working for nissan.
and your point is??? what is wrong with TL!! Why are you hating on TL? I dont really understand people like you. You don't have to diss on others like that. Not everyone has same taste as you so don't make fool out of yourself buddy!!~ be more respectful to me and othersDoriftoNismo wrote:today i must have seen about 5 TL's and in each one of them was an older man with his family!
I think you are right. I have been trying to convince my wife to get a G35 for a number of years now, and she is leaning towards the TL instead!miata007 wrote:From my experience, I do see more ladies driving TL vs more males driving a G35. Guys must be into the RWD and torque. Ladies in general looks for styling and interiors. I could be wrong though.
