How much can you shave a ka24e head?

I would like to know because i would like to have more performance---but i dont want to fork out the cash to do a: turbocharger, sr20, nitrous, ect.

I think its .015" not 100% ,but it wont do much for you, its really not worth the effort.

do u know if anyone sells any aftermarket pistons that up the compression?

crap if i go that route ill be spendin more money--guess ill have to save my pennies for a sr20,ca18 ect.

or do the turbo. I would think the turbo would end up being cheaper in the long run.

what im trying to say is id reather have stock hp--because its designed for it--or do you think id have a problem w/ turbocharging the ka?

there are many posts covering this exact task in the 240 tech and ka forums.. Since you will be spending alot of time saving up for a really awesome mod to your car I strongly recommend you read through several of these threads on that exact mod so you have the knowledge ahead of time going into the upgrade instead of learning by mistake during the job.. You could also read up on the Ca and SR swaps kinda browse through them and decide which mod will give you what you want out of your car. I know a female on here put a turbo on her KA 240 so I know her info is likely posted I believe her user name is girlracer??
