How much can you get from a KA24e?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

How much power and torque can I reasonably expect to squeeze out of my '90 KA24e going all motor, and still in streetable form? I'd go turbo, but I'm hearing too many stories of 'fist sized holes in the block'......And for the same $$ one can go SR20DET.

that doesn't sound like an engine problem, it sounds like a "i don't know what i'm doing" tuner problem.
