how much can u boost until BTM is ineffective?

as the title says... how much can someone boost b4 MSD BTM becomes ineffective at controlling timing? 16psi?? anyone know?

There is no set psi. There is set # of degrees. IIRC it's around 15degrees Let me go search.

at 16 psi...with .5* retard per psi...that is a total of 8 degrees minus the total timing of 28 degrees. with 20 degrees, that is definatley enough timing, if not more timing than needed. you should probably even retard some a little base timing. i say base timing because at 16psi...with .75* per psi is quite a lot. unless you move it up slightly over .5
