how much can the sr hold?

i got my motor swap and i was told the turbo can only hold 15 lbs of boost... what about the motor?? i know its somewaht built for the boost... basically, i just dont want to blow the motor and eventually upgrade the turbo what is safe boost levels?

I didn't even like running 15psi, thats when I started to lean out.

well, i realize i would need to tune the car with some fuel upgrades and computer components

if your on the stock fuel pump then DO NOT TURN THE BOOST UP. you won't be able to supply enough fuel to keep the A/F within safe operating range. i also wouldn't if you don't have a fmic. however, if you do have an upgraded fuel pump and fmic then 15 is ok for every now and then.

the block can with stand an incrediable amount of boost with jsut a head gasket upgrade.
