basically its a 91 black on black 240 coupe (5 speed) super clean interior.

with:

rebuilt rb20det ( with new piston rings, cometic head gasket, arp head studs, resurfaced head, honed cylinders, balanced crank, new belts)eibach springs and shocksturbo xs intercooler with full pipingracing aluminum radiator300zx brakes and slotted rotorswalbro 255 fuel pump

sadly you will probably only get 4 to 5 k for it. I think you would make more parting it out.

Those 300z brakes 4 lug? I might be interested

I would say you could get around 8-10k with the right buyer. Problem is a current 240 owner wouldn't buy it, but a n00b would. Roots 240 owners are all cheap *** bishez hahaha

I very seriously doubt 8-10. With the right buyer, meaning someone who is absolutely in love with it, youll get about 7k TOPS.

An average enthusiast buyer, someone who hasnt owned an S13 before or done a motor swap, youre getting about 6k.

Everyone else, look at high 4's, low 5's.

^somewhat agreed

these cars arent that much. your only gonna get cash for "skyline" and "drift"

can even try breaking it down

u can get:

chasis = 500clip = 3000?springs = 100intercooler = 400brakes = 350pump = 100

thats just throwing a rb20 in a chasis. with cars you tend not to get what you actually pay for in parts, the cash value usually drops a bit.

i think if u wanna get more, your gonna have to add parts thatll aim towards that range of kids that wants a drift car all ready to go.

totally agreed. i have a 95 se with an rb20 with a few more mods than that and im having trouble selling for 7k.

honestly, people just arent spending money on this stuff lately. and all the noobs get flamed for buying a swapped car, so they need to be cool and build it themselves. ive had 5 people say almost that very same thing to me...... um ok.

Yeah you may be able to get 5-6 for it from a random buyer, really it depends on how dead set on selling you are. If you have the time to wait for someone to come around with the money, you will prolly get what you want. Only thing is, that can take a long time; like I said before its going to take someone who is REALLY in love with it.

Anyone who works on cars a lot will obviously pay a little less, since they may have had a different route in mind or can nit pick any nuance of your swap or mods. For example, when i bought my latest car it had an SR swap done and the wiring was a little janky, and it had some mods that were kinda cool but didnt really matter to me (eg, an HKS Fan Speed COntroller, nice lil $200 piece, but not really needed with a stock swap). Hence, I was able to reasonably offer him what I thought it was worth and not cloud it with what he put into it.

For the record, I had a 89 coupe/Silvia Front with an unrebuilt RB20, similar mods as you, and it went for $4500 with an E-Manage and E-01 setup.

I had my 240 up on ebizzle a few weeks ago, it got up to $10,400, but my ridiculously high reserve wasn't met and I doubt the high bidder was even serious. But hey a boy can dream right?
