How much can I get for my car?

1991 Nissan 240sx fastback--125,000 miles-manual-HICAS w/ LSD and much stiffer factory suspension-red

Problems--toasted 3rd gear synchro-the infamous 240sx idle problem, when you step on the cluch from a cruise, the idle drops to ~200 rpm, sometimes even dies-some minor body problems, dents, chips, etc.-burnt out climate control bulbs

Mods (not that it adds anything)--B&M short shifter-Unorthodox Underdrive Lightened Crank Pulley-SPEC stage 3 clutch, one year old

240's lately have been selling for way over bluebook, so I want to see what you guys think I can get for my car.

Meh, that's kind of hard to gauge.... how much do they go for in your area? It'll be different everywhere you go. Out here in So Cal I wouldn't pay more than MAYBE 1100-1400, since I could anticipate some electrical and transmission work at the very least.

EDIT: Even with HICAS and the "stiffer" factory suspension, I wouldn't pay more for it... but that's just me...

Even with the toasted 3rd gear you might get $2k if you're lucky.

If I were to put a different used transmission on there, how much would it be worth? Maybe I could even fix the idle problem if I get time.

it's hard to say what you may get for it. Price is just what people are willing to pay.

Must have been hard to say no, that's how much I paid for my 96 with 98k miles

Then again, I wouldn't sell mine for $4k now.
