How much can be asked for this 93 Z32 w/ JDM VG30DETT swap?

Hey guys!

You may remember a year ago my bf's somewhat pristine 93 63k n/a Z, threw a rod (more or less) and after a month of labor he put a JDM VG turbo motor in. Car was running like a champ and since it was a fuel monger my bf decided to pick up a beater 240sx as a daily driver to work. So the Z sat at his work for what seemed to be 6 months (intermittent starting/etc).

Now it has quite a few problems and he wants to sell it since he doesn't want it anymore and he's at his wits end trying to figure out what's wrong with it.

So here's a list:1. Car won't boost, he thinks there's a boost leak somewhere that he can't find. 2. When cold, the car cannot hold a idle 3. Just this afternoon he was spraying all sorts of locations w/ intake cleaner and had it revving nicely when he noticed that coolant started to spew from one of the turbos.

So he's just about had it, he works at Nissan and before bringing it home 3wks ago, he stumped all the mastertechs there as they could not figure out what was wrong with it.

Cosmetically, someone at Nissan backed into the fender, he plans on replacing it w/ a new fender and buffing up the hood that he repainted last year but left unfinished. Rest of the body is fine, and no rust. I think the motor has 56-58k on it. And he has a HKS Hiper on it, Greddy Boost controller, and some A-pillar boost and temp guages.

How much can he get for it w/ the problems it has?

it's tough to sell an incomplete project, most people will just not want the drama, good luck finding a buyer

very true. hopefully it will work out that someone who is a mechanic of sorts can pick it up for cheap and work it out so that they get a deal of a Z32

I know I've looked at a couple Z's that people couldn't finish and have been tempted to get another for cheap and fix their problems.
