Your taking an old engine and tuning it, this has happened in the UK for awhile, also could fuel octane levels be to blame?

I know that the UK and US use the RON+MON/2 system but US fuel has a lower rating than the UK higher octane fuel, but I don't know if Japan uses the same system.

There's nothing wrong with an engine importer cleaning the engine up for viewing, but i prefer to see it the way it came from Japan. Most of these motors sit around in rain, sun and all other elements before someone decides to buy them and have them shipped. So the cleanliness of engine means nothing to me. I'm more interested in the physical condition and output of cylinder pressures to start.

Just email me and we'll discuss this if interested: [email protected]. Prices I mentioned earlier are the same minus shiping.

I don't actually own them, but I usually help people who need them get them. CA18DET motorsets run anywhere from $1300-$1600. I am tasked with checking them, but the only thing I get is something JDM like a steering wheel or something and the satisfaction I get is knowing that members are atisfied with what they paid their money for.

Well, I may be in the market soon before the end of this month. I was thinking about putting a turbo on my KA24E and then I was thinking about doing the same to the KA24DE that I have sitting in my driveway, then I thought that the KA24E would be fine and just did suspension and brakes, but when I drive my modified galant VR-4 (5 year project) and then drive my 89 coupe to work the next day and can't get past an Infiniy I30 so I can get my exit off the freeway....well....the time has come to do something!

I already have a profec A, timer, egt, boost gauge, FMIC, 3" turbo cack, and 1g DSM BOV, and air filter w/ adapter, and the p/s lines and tack from my DOHC parts car. I just need a motor to go with it. And probably a new clutch, some hoses, timing belt......but I need to make sure that I have A/C.

Man those CA's go quick. I need to get a 240 and talk my parents into a CA. (letting me buy a 240 and CA with my own money)

Stupid me not having a 240 yet. Parents are a pain but what can you do.

Its seasonal. Jump on it now though because prices will only go up because this engine swap thign is becoming way to big way to fast.
