How much brake fluid should I buy?

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Hello folks,

Planning to do a brake fluid flush for my 2006 Sentra 1.8S. I checked the manual to figure out how much fluid I should buy but there is no mention of it (page MA-13 of the service manual). Since this fluid is hygroscopic, I do not want to buy more than what I need.

Any suggestions on the brand are also welcome. Came across this old story (http://www.csmonitor.com/Business/2010/ ... n-vehicles) wonder it applies to Sentra too.

Many thanks in advance.

For that car, I'd buy one 12 oz. bottle. I'm used to seeing a regular sized bottle and a large bottle at the parts store. I've never needed the big one and I think the regular one is 12 oz.

Um, further thinking... I've never done it with ABS. I have a 240 which has a similar sized system (no ABS). So, if you have ABS, maybe get a second bottle. Worst case, you take it back for a full refund. If no ABS, you're good with one.
