The fastest way to blow an engine is to overfuel it and overboost it. Looks as if you were quite successful at both.
ok, that deserves a good WTF?!first off my afr's were good when it blew up (12.5:1 wot), there is no way that it was bore washing.second of all it was not over boosting and not overfueling like stated above, we were just comming down from a highway pull and cruising normaly when i lost power.to this day we dont know what happened exactly but egt's are suspect of being high as a hole was found melted in the ringlands of cly 5's piston.

i would like to know who you think you are getting on here posting the most erraticly written posts with bits of random information infused within.

sky80- turbo is a "real" gt30r with a .63 ar turbine housing. as for injectors when i did 387 i was running 550cc injectors with an estimated duty cycle of 83%, over the 80% threshold so i stepped up to 720's.
