with the stock 370cc injectors i would not run much past 10psi with a gt2871 or gt2876(not sure what one you have)

Get some bigger injectors and you can run around 18psi

Not even 10 psi with 370cc inj. a red top with a T28 on 370cc's at 10psi being to lean out unless you bump up the fuel pressure.

if its a 2871R get 740cc inj abd a Z32 MAF abd a Tune

When I was using a HKS GT2530 with 550cc injectors, and Z32 maf with a tune, I ran as high 21 psi. That was my high boost setting. Low boost was set at 17 psi.

Now that my HKS GT2530 has crapped out, I got myself a GT2871R .64. With the same tune and set up, I was dd my car at 14 psi with no issues. Once I get some cams and a ecu reflash, I'll bump it up to 17 or 18 psi.

when you had your hks gt2530, did you run it with a stock headgasket or a metal one?(just wondering how much hp the stock headgasket can take). and also, how much power did you make at 17 and 21 psi?
My peak numbers aren't very impressive but the response and power curve was nice though. At 17 psi it peaked out at 270 whp, but this was on a Mustang dyno and they tend to read lower than others. Sorry I can't post the numbers the graph. Never ran the car on a dyno at 21 psi though.

Believe it or not, all of this is on a stock headgasket. This engine still have all factory internals, but it was rebuilt with factory parts though, so it probably has a little bit more life left in it than typical SR's. I have a metal head gasket too, I'm just too lazy to put it in.

Replace the H/G with a metal one and ARP H/SStock H/G normally blows after 14 psiIt only a matter of time before the H/G give out.

you really need to get yourself some injectors

To OP:You are going to melt your pistons if you do not upgrade your fuel system . You will also more than likely blow your HG.If you really want to blow some boost, do the appropriate upgrades, such as Pistons, Injectors, Fuel Pump, Tune, Replace your oil pump...etc The moment you start demanding more from your engine at high boost levels, the stress on the internals gets the best of the parts. Read the FAQ, it will give you a better idea.
