Ive boosted my SR up to 24psi with 110 Octane on stock HG and 2871R .86. Nothing blew but im also running an Enthalpy ECU. I usually boosted around 19psi on 93 octane.

Here's a little secret... boost doesn't really blow head gasketsWhat blows the head gasket is detonation.....how would an NA car blow a head gasket?

DrifterProdigy85 is right tuning is the key!

So there is no one correct answer to your question, based on the available information that is.

22 PSI daily is definitely not a good idea.

20psi all day with proper tuning. That is absolutely correct, detonation will kill a motor and or headgasket seal. The cylinder pressure durring detonation is intense. Ive done ECU's for two cars one running 20psi one running 18psi with gt2871r's daily driven and making great power. There plenty of people properly tuned running this setup.
