My friend just got his S13 SR20det running, it is all stock with a small/medium sized FMIC. It purrs like a kitten and pulls good.We had some trouble dialing in the manual boost controller and accidentally boosted to about 20 psi a couple times. Nothing was damaged. My question is, how much boost can you safely run on an all-stock S13 without damaging anything?

thanks

Yea the t28 will hold 14 or 15 safe. Id make sure that manual boost controller is working right before you take it out and run it hard.

Since you have the T25 I wouldnt recommend anything over 13psi. Though the turbo is good for 15psi, they dont last long @14-15psi. How did you manage to boost to 20psi? You must be missing a wire somewhere because the SR has a factory boost cut of 15psi.

yes we are missing a few wires.... but i dont remember a boost cut....does the S13 have a pressure sensor somewhere that detects that?

So keep it under 13-ish and we should be alright?

I wouldn't run more than 1 bar and you'll be safe.

The turbo can't outrun the injectors anyways.
