well i got a few invites so i thought i could make some accounts that people would be after and maybe i could make a quick buck, i was curious how much do you think someone would spend on a gmail account that they really want?

i made [email protected]

yes... honda.... because i know how them honda boys got some money and i figured some boosted honda owner would like that account to go with their car... how much should i ask for?

how much would you pay for an email address that you really want?

keep in mind, gmail is invite only and it has over 1gig in space per account.. thanks in advance guys:ylsuper

Most people just sell the invites, they dont want an account already made. I think I used to see invites on ebay for like 5 bucks.

btw, the adverage offer is around $50 for a wanted address..

thats what you think bro, i work in the adult webmaster industry and alot of people are after easyto remember addresses and are willing to dish out money for them...

Wait...so people are paying money for a Gmail account so Google can scan all their email, archive that data and then use it for marketing purposes to try to sell me more stuff I don't want? Ummmm...I'll trade you one slightly old cat turd for a Gmail account.

what if you wanted [email protected] , it is taken but the owner is offering it to anyone who wants it for $50, now if you really want that account, you would prolly pay for it before someone else does.

but to your question, people were selling invites on ebay up to 50bucks but then i heard that gmail asked ebay to take those auctions off, and maybe even denied membership, i know they did change the terms to non transferable/sellable invites. (i never did go and check ebay for them again)
