How many times can a KA24E be clean bored ?

My donor block from the junkyard appears to be a rebuild of some type, my question is how many times can the block be bored before it starts affecting performance, or causing heat problems ? thanx !

If the block doesn't have scratches in the cylinder walls, just change the piston rings and ball hone the cylinders. As far as how far over the block can be bored, I wouldn't think more the 30 over. You'd have to measure it.

I believe the FSM says 1mm, that would be about 40 over

Flatlander is going to make a stroker kit for the DE, they already have one if somebody wants to make a KA28ET
