I'm curious as to how many times a day, on average, "G" drivers hit Wide Open Throttle and hold it there for at least 3 or 4 seconds.

I voted 2-4 times but it depends. Some days lately just cruising. Some other days have the itch for the go and do it every time when there is no traffic and don't go over the speed limit ...much. Just to get up to the limit or so. When we get snow I do it even more. Maybe it is the color white gives me the itch. LOL

I definitely not as bad as I used to be with my 07. I had to change tires at 12k miles on my 07. With my 08 I am at 16k and still have some left. Not much but can get to 20 I think. Same with the brake I needed new brakes on my 07 at 17k with my 08 still good. At least it was really good when I checked it at 13K.

I love getting onto the onramp that is at a traffic light on the way to work. I hit 0-60 as fast as I can and merge into traffic at highway speed.

I also love getting to the exit of the industrial park and getting on the highway taking a left across the oncoming traffic... It's allowed I live in the sticks are highways are one lane in each direction. From a complete stop I run through 1st and chirp into second every time.... I love that feeling and hearing the tires chirp is a rush. That tire chirp is what made me buy the car. It's not a easy task with a AWD 4dr AT. I wish I could have bought the Coupe S MT but my life requires the sedan these days.

I love my G....

Wow, Zozo! I've got 29k on my 07 and still have original tires and brakes. I cannot resist coming off an on-ramp and holding it to the floor until I have to let off - hit 120mph or whichever comes first. I get such a rush and stress relief - screw Xanax buy a G37 and hold on.

i floor it quite alot more then 5 times a day, while everyone uses highways and main roads i avoid them and use the side roads because its quieter, empty and allows me to enjoy driving more. plus i know what roads to take to avoid most of the stop signs

I modified my pedal so that any signal bearing translates to 100% throttle, so I'm WOT whenever my foot isn't on the brake.

Since I got my ticket for speeding,I don't speed anymore. It was that or lose my G to the law

But it is still a great car to pick the woman up and the back seat is great withthe back folded down.

Hahaaha I'll never see that much in tires and brakes. I guess I floor it more than 2-4 times a day. But so hard to hold it back.

Do you every accidentally punch it too hard from the light? One day I was taking my friend out to lunch. We were stopped in a right hand lane at a light and I noticed that my lane ended ahead. I just meant to punch it and get a jump on the guy beside me. I broke'm lose big time.

I thought my friend was going to die laughing.

Good for you! You are probably closer to the 'average' 'G' driver than what is being presented here.

Was not paying attention at a busy light the other day and noticed it had turned green....guess I stomped it a little by accident and they screamed!

Did your VSC kick in abruptly? I usually keep mine on except when I know I'll be playing around...

I really don't know what happend. I drive with the VSC on all the time. It was just one of those times when I cut a really good light, hit it about 1/2 throttle and burned them.

I'm in my 50's and don't act like it....my friend is in her 50's and DOES act like it. She really got tickeled. She thinks I'm about 1/2 crazy anyway.
