Does anybody have the number of how many original owner 240SX verts are still running?Just curious. It sure is sad to see the junk yards suddenly having multiple verts in them.

sad, yes, bad, no.

the less that are on the road, the more valuable mine becomes. cha-ching.

that would be the case if I wasn't modified to hell and back...

but to answer your question we tried getting a database of all vert owners. it's not going to work that well, but there's only about 10,000 of them to count anyway. There were less 'verts produced than say....a 1986 Mercedes SL 500...pretty ballin.

if there are verts in the junkyard, pull some parts off it!! as they go away, vert-specific parts will be less available. I would get the rear quarter windows and window motor, as well as the rubber seal thing thats on the window

I bought mine in 1995 w/ 12k on it.. so I'm the 2nd owner. I've got a little over 135k on it today.

Seeing the Black '93 in the junk yard this past weekend was sad. It hadn't been wrecked that I could tell. Probably just a blown HG or something. But they bent the rad support getting the engine out and crowbar'd the trunk open. It could have been saved.
