How many quarts of transmission fluid??

Hey all,

Just wanted to make sure I get enough Mobile 1 ATF before I head to my mechanic? I purchased the filter kit from EverythingInfiniti.com and would like to get the transmission flush out soon.

14, unless you are doing the PS also (a great idea). Then 18.

The system holds 10 quarts...................a flush machine has connection line and internal convolutions and slack [volumes] so BG machine needs stores 14 quarts.......some of this excess is to maximize the chances of near total exchange if there are some minor cross over leaks inside the unit.

The AT output comes from the TC whereas the input goes to rear planetary first before partially flowing into pan.
