Manual Transmission, RS6F52A (6-SPD)..........3.6 pints (2qts).

I would recommend AMSOIL over the Redline.

Crap! I have always used Amsoil in the past and went with Redline from the forum write up here... I can say tho, I honestly think it now shifts worse than with the original fluid... not totally satisfied... :gotme

I did mix the 2 weights as suggested...

Wow. That sucks. Have you gotten this fixed? Did you go with Amsoil or OEM?

QR, not yet. sometimes I am just double clutching to get the car into reverse and into first... I`ve almost always experienced positive results when changing or upgrading anything and "Read" it shifts like butter" not the case here tho... hahaha my T18 Borg warner was smoother...lol...

the car is still young @ 15K, surprised to see less than normal metal particles when changing the gear lube, I guess that`s a good thing...

I`ve used Amsoil in almost all the differentials and gear boxes in past vehicles. next time around I will switch... too dam cold out right now...

IMHO Amsoil!
either one will work... or another spec`d gear oil for that matter... all depends on how long you want to keep it in there and how harsh you drive...

I've been looking up info to see what the difference is between Redline and Amsoil, and I can't find any info. I'm about to order some fluid, and wanted to know what is the best to get for performance? Plus i'm on the amsoil site now, and i don't see anything that says MT-90, they all are done in weights like motor oil. Which weight would I need for my 6spd?

Edit: just saw the comparison PDF on the amsoil site. I think Amsoil will be what i'm picking up.

RED_DET, i used your site to do the preferred customer. Thanks for the info
