Can we count handling mods- rear active (or T) sway bar, Jeff's FTSB, maybe Silverstars?

Yes suspension mods count, but headlights dont... Only things that either directly make the car faster (either in a straight line, make the car stop faster, or make it turn faster)

I added a choice

What about as soft [fast wearing] tires ...............tires that only last 15,000 miles [not counting camber errors].

The NUMBER 1 Performance MOD!

After all you can have the best most expensive suspension coilovers shocks adjustable everything and brake mods WITH HARD [400+ tread wear] tires AND NEVER EQUAL the as new performance in Skip pad or braking or acceleration.

Not many...

Jeff's FSTBRob's ECU93 TCU from Rob.

But they all make a huge difference.

I upgraded my headlights, which was the most effective $8 I've spent.

Where a few members are concerned, all you gotta do is look at their sig. I guess if you don't want to count the OEM rims of a 2001 Q, it would be 5 for me.

Let's see. FSTB, Active rear sway bar, Blues and 97 Q rims with 255/60/16 on them. That's 4.

Well, it depends if one is considering modifications that actually produce real world performance gains or just alterations that satisfy owners fantasies!

Few have the data, many have the faith.

My current tires are 280 rated (Continental & Yokohama's), previous set was 140 (Bridgestone RE040's). I replace tires annually (or more often) which equates to <10k per set. Oddly enough, people are more than willing to buy a tire that used?!?!

Of course, I also do not believe you can compare wear ratings across manufacturers . So, it's really hard to say how much harder/softer a tire is using the wear rating alone. Though I can agree anything >300 is going to be noticeably harder netting less performance.
